But my wife told me to buy it and give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. It works better than great, and I was how fast it shocks our heated. We have what we call our starter pool. It is a 48inch Intex X 18 meters. We have just the pool was filled about a week ago and already the pot up to 68 degrees, and each day raises the temp a bit more heated. We only need one today and plan to get a second soon to pool more heat. With that said, I have some tips that you can do to make it work so well as I should. For your convenience, I read a checklist for you: 1 Have a good pump / filter system. If you use an Intex pool that has sub-par pump / filter that came with it ... I I can not stress enough to get rid of and upgrade to a better pool pump and filter, you will not only have cleaner water, but it will heat better. To find out what kind of pump we have, there is a Hawarden 3/4hp pump with cartridge filter. Second to hang on to all your chemicals and clean the filter. The more efficiant pump is running, the better it will work (I believe this action should go without saying, but sometimes the obvious things overlooked) 3. Before your system, double and triple check all hose conections. Some leaks will also cause it to heat the swimming pool right. a small side not, overkill is not the amount of hose you use. Use just enough to keep the unit in direct sunlight. REGUARDING fourth in the complaints about the plastic cover by poping. I've never done and we were walking for a little heat wave we 95 + outside and still no problems. I will say that I can see how it happens to people because it takes some force to pop rather know that you have firmly established to hear and feel a click. You really need to turn the cap firmly to get it to crash. 5th Make sure you run the pump during the hottest parts of the day and when the device is in direct sunlight. We turn our pump at 8 am and off at eight in the evening. 6th I hate to say this because it sounds like I'm the donkey (you know what I mean), but use common sense. I really feel that some (not all) of the people who wrote comments negitive just tried again to trouble shoot and / or were very hard on him. As I said they have not had any problems with this product. If you are familiar with how the system works the pool and keep it running properly and efficiently and smoothly throughout the season, will have no problem. 13 of 13 people found this review helpful. The poor quality and no leaks. By L. Solar Helbers aqua livin bought the stove and it blew apart at the seams within one week after installing it, the heater is designed with accessories that the water long. Leaking water from both devices, where the mounting, the body of the heater .. .. must be so designed that the adjustment was formed in the body. The heater has a transparent dome that covers the device. On the third day, I noticed that the dome kept popping off the heater when the pump ... was The bomb was outside would fit perfectly. Two days after the burst at the seam heater. Fortunately my pool pump on when my water down into the skimmer. If you buy this always keep an eye on the dome ensure that they do not run ... this is a sign to prepare to explode. The company was very good about sending a replacement. I do not have the replacement installed. 14 of 15 people found the following review helpful. You can never know if the pool is heated!
