This convenient, extra-bright LED light affixes to the side of your above-ground pool with magnets. It is designed to float should it become dislodged, and the exterior power cord means no batteries. By Renee Spindle I actually bought one of these lights off the clearance rack at Big Lots for only 10 bucks. I figured if it didn't work no worries. What a great little light! I have a 13' x 25' x 48" Splash Superpool. This little light illuminates the pool perfectly. The kids are totally enjoying the night swimming. I placed the light near the ladder on the end of the pool. It is fairly bright all the way to the centerline, and then starts to fade toward the far end. The kids like it this way, as they can swim to the "dark side" when they want. We can see the bottom of the pool completely so this makes it safer for the kids at night. It is an LED light, so it should last a long time. I made the mistake of leaving it in the pool over winter, and thought it might be ruined. After cleaning the pool and light to get it ready for this summer, I plugged it in and it worked fine. By Big George You just take it out of the box and hold the outside transmiter on the outside of the pool wall & and put the inside light unit to the inside of the pool wall and the magnet system holds them together and passes the needed elct thru the pool wall. Plug it in and you have a pool that will glow at night, it's the coolest thing. No cutting holes in your pool, no fumbling with return lines. I'm so impressed with this light, worth every penny. Ferko I sort of got this pool light on a whim. I wanted a pool light and did not want to spend a lot on one so I thought if it is not to good I would just send it back. Well to my surprise It installs in seconds. I did plug it in to an all weather timer I was not using. At night it supplies good soft lighting for my backyard pool. I have one of those INTEX easy set pools 42" deep 16ft in across. placed the light between the intake and outlet for the water circulation chlorine pump, close to the bottom of the pool on the side of the pool.
